Keep your lips moisturised this summer with Biome - make Your Own Coconut Lip Balm!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp Beeswax Pellets (or ½ tbsp candelilla wax for a vegan alternative)
1 tbsp mango butter
4 drops lime essential oil
4 drops mandarin essential oil
4 drops grapefruit essential oil
Method:
Melt the wax, mango butter and coconut oil together in a glass jug over a simmering saucepan of water.
Once melted, add your essential oils and mix quickly.
Pour the mixture into 15ml reusable lip balm containers, and allow to cool before sealing.
How To Use:
Use daily as desired. Store in a cool dry place and use within 4 months. This recipe makes enough to approx. fill 2 x 15ml lip balm containers.
Tip: use an essential oil combination of your choice, or none at all.
