Are You Just Strong?

I never pictured myself becoming a brand ambassador and I definitely didn't picture myself as a brand ambassador for a brand of work out gear! When I initially saw the opportunity to become a brand ambassador for Just Strong - I was a definite no. Work outs and my couch potato physique have never been a keen pair. It did, sadly, take me a while to realise that this athleisure brand was about something more than just getting sweaty at a gym.
Just Strong are a lifestyle brand representing strong women in all walks of life - not just in a physical sense. Just Strong represents a community of people who have lived life and been through the hardships it can bring with it. No matter how big or small, Just Strong wants to place those who have a story to share in the spot light and give them a stage to speak out and remind people they are not alone in what they have gone or are still going through.

Just Strong's brand symbol is a representation of going full circle and "feeling connected and strong, no matter the background or adversary you may have faced previously. It's a representation of our message – we are all strong. No matter your walk of life, your background, your sport (if you even do a sport) – we all have our own version of strength." which spoke to me, as mental and emotional strength are often forgotten. I said yes to wearing this brand as a symbol of my own strength and my own hard work through trauma, autoimmune diseases and mental illness. I can safely say that this is some of the most comfortable work out gear I've worn and has become my lazy day wear (as well as my occasional work out wear) as it reminder to myself that even on the darker days, I am still hanging on and working towards a healthy and happy life every day.
