Pure Romance - HeLi Conditioning Shave Cream

Do you ever just refuse to buy a product because you think it's just another thing that costs money, and you can substitute it with something you already have? If you answered yes - I can completely relate!

I always thought shaving cream was just another marketing ploy to get us buying another product, when I could just use my body wash without an extra expense. It turns out shaving cream serves a greater purpose than I realised. Now don't get me wrong, I know men use shaving cream on their face all the time but I figured that my legs probably didn't need the same sensitive treatment that facial skin does.

The reason I decided to try shaving cream was because I was at my wits end with my legs always itching after shaving. I continuously struggled with reactions due to nickel in razors, hair removal creams causing reactions from ingredients and waxing is off the table because of my Von Willebrand's disease causing easy bruising. The only thing I could think of was to start using a dedicated shaving cream.

HeLi conditioning shave cream was created to be a gentle shaving cream, safe for people with sensitive skin and allergies. This shaving cream is a part of the essential oils range with Pure Romance and is made with plant based products, is unscented/fragrance free, gluten free, paraben free, sugar free, pH balanced, contains squalane from olives to keep your skin hydrated, and Phytic acid which is known to be a natural antioxidant that promotes anti-aging.

To use this cream, simply apply a layer of the shaving cream to damp skin and then allow the cream to soak in for a few moments. This formula is created to soften the hair follicles, to allow a closer shave without the razor tugging on the hairs and skin which causes the lovely red bumps we all love so much. Use a clean sharp razor to remove the hair from desired areas and rinse with warm water.

I have been using HeLi shaving cream since August 2019 and upgraded to a safety razor for a cleaner shave and I am pleased to report that I have had absolutely NO itchy red, dry skin rashes... NOT ONE. This is a miracle in a bottle... just saying.
