Are you a lover of soaking in hot baths with gorgeous scented bath bombs? Did you know you can make them at home? Check out this simple recipe by Biome, to make 'Springtime Citrus Burst' Bath Bombs.

What you will need:
Ingredients:
-3 tablespoons Dried Calendula Petals
-1 cup Bicarb Soda
-1 cup Citric Acid
-1/2 cup Cornstarch
-1/2 cup Castor Oil (or another light oil such as sunflower, rice, or grapeseed oil
-6 drops grapefruit essential oil
-6 drops orange essential oil
-4 drops bergamot essential oil
-4 drops lemongrass essential oil
-4 drops ginger essential oil
Method:
In a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder, grind the dried calendula petals down to a smooth, silky powder.
Mix dry ingredients together in a glass bowl until combined.
Slowly add the castor oil followed by the essential oils. Mix and squeeze together with your hands until it resembles damp sand.
Divide the mixture into 5 equal portions and role each portion into a tight ball. You may like to roll some whole calendula petals into the ball to decorate (like we have done in our photo above).
Let them set overnight, and air dry for another 24.
How To Use:
This recipe makes enough for approximately 5 round 100g bath bombs.
To use, run a warm bath and drop one in. It should fizz and release a beautiful uplifting aroma. Take care leaving the bath or shower as it may be slippery. We recommend using 1-2 times a week.
Store in a sealed glass jar out of direct sunlight.
Tip: It’s best to make them in small regular batches like this and use within a month rather than storing them long term as certain temperatures and humidity can effect their fizz quality.
